Can I amend or cancel my order after placing it?
If you need to make changes, contact us at hello@prodirecttools.com as soon as possible. We'll do our best to help, but once an order has been dispatched we're unable to make changes and you'll need to follow our standard returns process.

Do I need an account to place an order?
No. You can check out as a guest. Creating an account simply makes it easier to track orders and manage returns.

Is VAT included in your prices?

Are your products genuine branded items?
We sell a mix of professional-grade tools and compatible accessories. Products listed as "compatible with" a brand (such as DeWalt, Makita, Milwaukee, or Dyson) are high-quality aftermarket accessories designed to work with those platforms — they are not manufactured by or affiliated with those brands. This is clearly stated in each product listing.

Will compatible batteries work with my existing tools?
Yes. Our compatible batteries and chargers are designed to fit and function with the corresponding brand platforms. For example, our Makita Compatible 18V batteries work with Makita 18V LXT tools. If you're unsure whether a product is compatible with your specific tool, contact us before ordering and we'll check for you.

What brands do you stock compatible products for?
We currently offer products compatible with DeWalt, Makita, Milwaukee, and Dyson platforms, including batteries, chargers, power tools, and accessories. We're continually expanding our range based on customer demand.

Do compatible batteries have the same capacity as originals?
Our compatible batteries are available in various capacities, including high-capacity options (e.g. 8Ah packs) that often match or exceed the capacity of standard OEM batteries. Specific capacity details are listed on each product page.

Are your paint sprayers suitable for professional use?

Returns & Refunds

What is your returns policy?
You have 30 days from delivery to return your order for any reason, and returns are free. Items must be returned in their original, unused condition and packaging. Refunds are issued to your original payment method within 14 days of us receiving the returned goods.

How do I return an item?
Contact us at hello@prodirecttools.com with your order number and the reason for the return. We'll provide you with return instructions and, where applicable, a returns label.

Do I have to pay for return shipping?
No. Returns within 30 days are free, whether you've changed your mind or the item arrived faulty, damaged or incorrect. Just contact us first so we can arrange it.

My item arrived damaged or faulty — what should I do?
Please take clear photographs of the item and packaging, then contact us at hello@prodirecttools.com within 48 hours of delivery. Include your order number and photos. We'll arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

I received the wrong item — what should I do?
Contact us at hello@prodirecttools.com with your order number and a photo of the item received. We'll arrange collection of the incorrect item and send you the right one, or issue a full refund — whichever you prefer.

When will I receive my refund?
Refunds are processed within 14 days of us receiving the returned goods. It may take a further 3–5 business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your bank or card issuer.

Shipping & Delivery

Where do you deliver?
We currently deliver to addresses within the United Kingdom, including England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. We do not currently offer international shipping.

How long does delivery take?
Our products are shipped from UK-based stock. Standard orders are dispatched within 1–3 business days (next working day with Express) and delivered within 3–5 business days. Large or heavy items may take 5–7 business days.

How much does shipping cost?
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the size, weight, and destination of your order. Free delivery is available on qualifying orders — check our website for current thresholds.

How do I track my order?
Once your order has been dispatched, you'll receive a confirmation email containing your tracking number and a link to the carrier's tracking portal. If you haven't received a dispatch email within the expected processing time, check your spam folder before contacting us.

What happens if I'm not home when my order arrives?
The carrier may leave your parcel in a safe place or with a neighbour and will notify you. Some carriers offer the option to reschedule or redirect to a local collection point. If a delivery attempt fails and the parcel is returned to us, we'll contact you to arrange redelivery.
